Monday through Thursday the scholars in Mrs. Lister's room take turns at reading stations. The four stations are: read to self, listen to reading, word work and work with teacher. Each morning the scholars spend around 10 minutes on each of these "schedule appointments". Their stamina for these activities has increased and it has been a comfortable routine in our classroom. Keep sending in the homework slips for reading at home. Students are working toward an in-class celebration once they have read for 200 hours. They are half way to this goal, already!
